I am a software developer working with Ruby on Rails and Java. I have been writing software professionally for over 17 years and playing with computers in general even longer. I current work for Onyx Government Services as a Software Engineer.
About the banner image. I took the photo used as my banner image this summer while vacationing in the Grand Tetons. We had to hike 2 miles into the wilderness to get to this tranquil location.
I spent over a year trying start my own company Dream Local. After a lot of effort and not a lot of traction I reluctantly stepped away from this effort. It consumed most of my free time and I decided that my family was more important for my time.
